Connect Chicago is meant to be a network of places in Chicago where internet and computer access, digital skills training, and online learning resources are available for free. I felt that this information was important because not everyone has regular access to the internet or a computer. Many people lack the proper digital training that could possibly help them get a job. Connect Chicago is meant to help close the gap between the privilege and under-privileged. For those who do not know that this type of system exists, this map is good start to finding out about it.
Even though there are only 12 locations here on the map, there are 250 locations of Connect Chicago in total. Out of the 250 total locations, 79 of them were Chicago Public Libraries. The 12 locations that you see are Chicago Public Libraries that are close in relation to their zip codes.
